Khai Sang Corporation commissioned the development of a concept masterplan for a biotechnology research campus combining research laboratories, educational facilities and conference functions within Saigon Hi-Tech Park.
The project focused on structuring the overall campus, defining relationships between the different functional buildings and creating an inspiring environment that supports research, education and collaboration. A central glazed atrium with integrated presentation and gathering spaces forms the social heart of the campus, encouraging interaction between researchers, students and visitors.
Responding to the client’s ambition for a timeless academic environment, the architectural concept combines expressive brick façades with generous glazed elements to establish a strong institutional identity. Beyond the architectural design, ENCON supported the client in refining the overall development concept and investment proposition during the early planning stage, demonstrating how architecture can contribute to shaping both the project vision and the future business case.

Short Project Description: Led client-side design and delivery support for a greenfield industrial facility in Hai Phong, coordinating design development, consultant interfaces, procurement support, site execution, quality control, and future expansion considerations. The role required balancing German client expectations, Vietnamese authority and construction realities, and multidisciplinary project delivery.
